Bid Increment The Bid Increment value is used to set the value for the next valid bid on an auction. For example, if the current bid for an item in a standard auction is $10.00 and the bid increment is $1.00, then the next acceptable bid will be $11.00. This site has a table that is used to set graduated bid increments depending on the current bid value; however, you can override the default bid increments and set your own custom bid increment that will be used for your auction by entering a value in this field. If you want to use the standard bid increments, then just leave this field blank.
